Mileage / Travel Fee

A mileage fee is charged for travel to and from the service location. Mileage is calculated shop-to-shop, beginning at Darren’s Apiary and ending at the service location, with the return trip included.

Mileage is billed at $0.76 per mile.

This travel fee helps cover the cost of fuel, vehicle operation, maintenance, insurance, and other expenses associated with traveling to provide services.

Mileage charges are calculated based on the actual travel distance required for the service call and are added to the labor and material charges on the final invoice.

For services requiring multiple trips to the property, mileage may be charged for each necessary trip.
