Wall Cut Out Service
Wall Cut-Out Bee Removal
Some bee colonies establish themselves inside wall cavities, soffits, siding, or other enclosed areas where the colony cannot be safely accessed without creating an opening. When necessary, Darren’s Apiary will carefully cut an access opening to locate and remove the bee colony and, when practical, the comb and honey associated with the colony.
Wall cut-out services are billed at the standard removal labor rate of $50 per hour, with a 3-hour minimum, plus applicable mileage and materials. Materials used during the removal are charged at cost + 5%.
Specialized Equipment:
Certain removals may require specialized equipment due to the location, height, accessibility, construction, or condition of the structure. Examples may include lifts, scaffolding, specialty access equipment, additional safety equipment, or other equipment necessary to safely complete the removal.
When specialized equipment is required, the cost of renting or obtaining the necessary equipment will be added to the final invoice. Whenever reasonably possible, the customer will be informed of the additional equipment requirement and associated cost before the equipment is obtained.
Wall Repair:
The cut-out is made solely to provide safe access to the bee colony. Unless specifically stated in the written estimate, permanent wall, siding, soffit, stucco, brick, insulation, painting, or other structural repairs are not included in the bee-removal service. Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for any repairs following the removal.
Because every structural bee removal is different, the final cost may vary depending on the location of the colony, accessibility, time required, materials used, and equipment necessary to safely complete the job.
